What Johnathan Wilkinson is saying about removing the carbon tax rebate and how it will be detrimental to low income people and make it even more difficult for them to live, this is true.
I don't agree with the carbon tax, however those on disability that are supposed to be getting a raise in benefit that has royal assent and was suppose to have been dispersed , it hasn't. These peoples, me being one, do not have enough to live on. We skip meals. Have to choose if we can afford something basic at the grocery store.
If everyone thinks that when Poilievre becomes PM and gets rid of the tax that prices will go down. I doubt that. They won't go down, but they won't go up either, and not going up is a great thing!!
This still leaves all the low income people without. Not just people on disability but seniors citizens as well.
I am well looking forward to Trudeau leaving and Poilievre taking over!
