Alberta is a stronghold of Christian Zionists. All the powerful think tanks pushing for war are basically Zionist. The Zionist strategy is to use the military muscle of the United States in wars for Israel. Most of the impetus to lionize Ben Shapiro and side with Israel in the disgusting slaughter of Palestinians comes in North America from Christian Zionists churches. In the '60s when I was in high school, we had a Social Studies class that included Current Events. the Vietnam War was a much discussed topic. During that time, an article was published (it might have been Life magazine) but I don't remember; the article stated that the Vietnam War actually began in the late 40s, early 50s. The US went into the war to protect the Goodyear Rubber Company's rubber plantations in Vietnam. Sort of lines up with what the video was saying.
