Thank you for all that you do to keep us informed. I do worry about you though, as you have to listen to garbage all day and try to keep yourself sane at the same time. Look after yourself, so you can continue to do this very important work.
FABULOUS ARTICLE REGARDING THIS VERY ISSUE: "But sooner or later, they will come to understand that their home heating oil exemption represented the beginning of the end for their signature ‘climate policy.’
INTERESTING FUN FACT: "NDP politician Rod Loyola invited a radical Islamic cleric, Dr. Musharraf Hussain to be honoured in the halls of the Alberta Legislature. He is well known across the pond for spouting extreme rhetoric supportive of terrorist organizations. He has called on the world to give the TALIBAN the "benefit of the doubt" and has called Palestinian militants "so-called terrorists," implying that Hamas is not genuinely a terrorist organization."
Valid points for sure. I don’t think you appreciate how pissed people are, though. If Polievre screws the pooch and goes back on his politicians word, he’ll face holy hell from Canadians. He doesn’t have a choice, now. Canadians will be watching him
We know the NDP & Liberals are done, just a matter of time. But what next? The thought of a Conservative majority under Pierre Poilievre makes me very nervous. Anyone else feel this way?
IMHO, too many Canadians see PP as our "saviour" and he definitely is not. PP did not speak up or offer any opposition until he knew he could get the votes from the East. He states he knows nothing about Agenda 2030, yet voted on it with S. Harper at least 6 times, he has no intention of slowing immigration, he will NOT axe the tax as his recent slogan suggests but only move it to the big players, which in turn brings it down to us. So, PP is just another politician, playing the game and too many are falling for the false promises.

Why does it make you nervous, Maureen?
Honestly curious ...

Totally support Pierre Poilievre; no doubts.
