What about our health care. Please Danielle you have to do something about surgery time. I have suffered for 7 months and I still have to wait 12-15 months to be consulted by a surgeon and then God knows when I get surgery. It is not fair. I did not get to this stage of my life now to suffer. Spend the money where we need it NOW!

Do you realize that the biggest problem was developed by the federal government?

If they hadn't opened the doors to Sooooo many people from other countries our health Care wouldn't have been affected.

Top that off taking equalization money from Alberta to profit other provinces and not receiving nothing back from other provinces resources is breaking Alberta's economy?

That's not Danielle Smith's fault because she has tried to get better deals from the evil valued government.

Do people realize that the funds that the province has to pay for “carbon taxes” to Ottawa for a non existent crisis, could fund so many more people such as teachers, health care staff, etc. as soon as the feds started to talk about increasing capital gains, many of the doctors and other professionals started to leave.

It may not be her FAULT! All I am saying is to put more emphasis and focus on healthcare and surgery times. If you are one of the lucky ones to be in a position where surgery is not required good for you! But our population has grown expediently favouring the baby boomers so health care and housing etc should be front and centre in our governments priorities list.

Danielle is doing what she can! Have you heard Nenshi and his minions calling her out on virtually everything. That stuff holds up what should be done! Did you hear the NDP crying about the supposed 2 tier system that would create?? That would’ve been good for you but now you sit and wait for a hospital (which we all know takes forever!) We have had a two tier system for as long as I can remember when I lived in Ontario and I’ve been in Alberta over 40 years!!

No province pays for equalization. That's Trumpian BS. Provinces run their own health care. It's on Smith.

Agree with you Rita. The problems are extensive all across Canada. We are letting in too many people coupled with the Federal Government decreasing how much money they give to provinces for healthcare. Our system is failing.

Plus.. the folks that have come here have educations that could help this strain. I worked in the hotel industry and worked with an endocrinologist from Ukraine. But she was doing housekeeping because of the way the federal government doesn’t recognize their qualifications. What a waste of her knowledge.

I get it unfortunately under ottawas rules we can’t have private insurance as well. That’s stupid. While working we could have that as a benefit clearing the way for seniors etc to get surgeries etc faster. We must vote freedom so we can decide and correct so many problems

Ontario has provincial police OPP and it works very well. I think several provinces have this, it is a good idea.

More such private organizations are needed, given the tendency towards corruption in 'public' institutions.
